KJ London

KJ London is no ordinary summer programme. It is a pre-university enrichment opportunity to empower young citizens as they take steps towards adulthood. It offers a personal, safe, engaging and thought-provoking experiences for young adults to develop independence and character.

Dates: 9th – 23rd July 2016

kj-london-2KJ London is a two-week residential programme for a select group of international 17-19 year olds in one of the most exciting cities in the world. Reflecting London’s international, cultural and open character, the programme will bring together students from around the world to participate in structured workshops, varied activities and trips, supervised individual and group responsibilities, as well as open dinner discussions that will see them develop confidence and competence in a wide range of adult life skills.

Students will learn how to:

  • Cook delicious and nutritious meals;
  • Maintain a clean and safe domestic environment;
  • Manage a budget;
  • Learn to navigate public transport systems independently;
  • Leadership and teamwork;
  • Present and debate ideas;
  • Interact with business owners, volunteers and adults from all walks of life;

Accommodation:

Self-contained Apartments for up to 8 people (1 adult in each at least)
Garden, Laundry, Games Room and Indoor Pool
South East London with excellent transport links

Our aim is for our students to get the most out of every opportunity they may dare to take on, to avoid making decisions thoughtlessly and to maximise their potential as they begin to consider challenges beyond education.
