English Plus Options

In 2026, we will again be offering our highly popular English PLUS options. Here the student can choose from a wide range of different activities and they will receive top quality, professionally qualified tuition in this field on 4 (normally) afternoons a week. It will enable the student to go home feeling they have genuinely achieved something in a particular field and have something to show for it.

English PLUS CLIMBING

Safely managed by qualified instructors, this option will cover all aspects of both climbing and abseiling. Available at DENSTONE and WELLINGTON. Total of 8 hours a week.

English PLUS DANCE

Specialist tuition in both jazz & ballet for 8 hours a week. Available at BRUTON, CRANBROOK, RENDCOMB.

English PLUS DRAMA

Drama workshops leading to a production at the end of each week. Qualified drama teacher with experience of children’s workshops. Available at CRANBROOK, RENDCOMB, BETHANY. Total of 8 hours a week.

English PLUS ENGLISH

Option of intensive English tuition with qualified teachers in small classes. Available at BETHANY, BRUTON, CRANBROOK, RENDCOMB, DUKE OF YORKS, DENSTONE and WELLINGTON. Total of 8 hours a week.

English PLUS FUTSAL

Futsal continues to increase in popularity across the world. Training will focus on speed, ability and technique. Available at CRANBROOK. 8 hours a week.

English PLUS GOLF

Group tuition from a club professional, normally with a mixture of time on the range and on the course. Not suitable for beginners. Note golf club hire is extra. Available at BRUTON, DENSTONE and WELLINGTON. Total of 8 hours a week.
Bruton-Horseriding

English PLUS HORSE RIDING

Tuition in riding itself as well as stable management etc.. This is not suitable for total beginners and it is vital correct attire is worn! Any age within the range at the given school. Available at RENDCOMB, BRUTON, DUKE OF YORKS, DENSTONE and WELLINGTON. Total of 8 hours a week.

ENGLISH PLUS KAYAKING

In association with South Cerney Outdoor Activity Centre. Great for fitness and to experience the outdoors. All levels catered for. Available at RENDCOMB. Total of 8 hours a week.
English-Plus-Music

English PLUS MUSIC

1:1 instrumental or singing tuition with a qualified music teacher. Available at RENDCOMB. Total of 4 hours a week is standard, longer available if required.
Paddleboarding

English PLUS PADDLEBOARDING

The chance to experience the UK's fastest growing water sport that combines adventure and exercise in the open water. 8 hours a week. Available at RENDCOMB.

English PLUS SAILING

Top quality tuition at local water sports centre. Students will have access to a range of boats – from Taz’s to Toppers to Topaz’s. Larger dinghies will also be used. Students will work towards the RYA Level One Certificate. 8 hours a week. Available at RENDCOMB.

English PLUS SOCCER

For those not wanting a really intensive soccer programme, this is ideal. Coaching from a Level 1 or 2 coach in all aspects of the game finishing with small sided games & a tournament. Available at DUKE OF YORKS. 8 hours a week.

Group tuition in all aspects of the game. Please enquire first if applicant is a beginner. Available at BETHANY, BRUTON, CRANBROOK, RENDCOMB, DENSTONE and WELLINGTON. Total of 8 hours a week

English PLUS YOGA

Yoga is a fantastic opportunity for all students to improve their strength and flexibility, learn English and try something new. Each session has a different English language focus taught through a variety of yoga exercises and games. Available at BRUTON. Total of 8 hours a week.

With the English PLUS options, please note the following:

    Early booking is advisable. When we reach the maximum advisable for each option, we will close bookings for that particular week.

    It is NOT possible to pull out of an option that has been pre booked without forfeiting 100% of the monies paid. This is because we commit to teachers in most options based on a minimum number. If a student decides to change option on arrival he/she will forfeit monies paid for that option and will have to pay for any new option he/she may decide to take up.

    It is NOT possible to join an option in the middle of a week.
  • spot_dr-r
    English PLUS options are wholly dependent on a satisfactory/suitable level of participants. Without this Project International reserves the right to cancel a particular option in a particular week. Obviously any monies paid will be fully reimbursed.

    All options have a minimum number of students that need to sign up to proceed. A decision on whether an activity it proceeding happens on the 1st June.

Should students decide against the English PLUS option, they will of course participate in the usual English plus multi activity programme.
